Implant Restoration

Implant Restoration

After a dental implant has been placed and adequate healing time has elapsed, an implant restoration is performed.

An implant restoration is typically completed with a replacement crown on a single implant or a bridge over two or more implants. These restorations can span anywhere from a single tooth to an entire arch of teeth, depending on your needs. An abutment will first be added to your implant, on top of which your new restoration will be attached. We will meticulously craft your new crown or bridge to act and feel as much like natural teeth in your mouth as possible.

Dental implants are becoming the gold standard for tooth restoration of missing teeth or teeth with a hopeless prognosis. While implants are typically more expensive than other methods of tooth replacement, they provide several benefits as they can be more reliable than some teeth that have been overly weakened by previous treatments. Dental implant treatment can also a more favorable approach than bridgework on natural teeth, which depend on neighboring teeth for support.
